I've been waiting for the release of Monkey Island 4 for a while now ... I'm a little nervous about 3D, but Grim Fandango was so goddam great that I have faith in LucasArts. You should all feel safe to know that the lead designers also designed Sam & Max--another one of the greats. To Mattman: Actually, it's been quite a while since SCUMM has had a prominent visual manifestation on the interface. The 9 main verbs in DOTT, Fate of Atlantis, the first two MI and others were replaced a while ago with the INSANE system. Didn't you play Full Throttle? Or CMI? And Grim Fandango introduced us to a KILLER 3D version of SCUMM ... a little behind, aren't we? =) Sorry for this, I'm just a Graphic Adventure FREAK (as many of you know).
