Zero (12 replies, 3775 views) (2004-Dec-1) Well, since VBGamer will not be hosting the christmas contest this year, I will do it. I have all thats needed to do it, but note, the site might not be ready for a week or so. And the date for entering your games will be later this time since this is late. You may enter games untill January 5th. I'll post back when I get the site up. By the way yes, I am a dev from Loradon (winning game last year) www.loradon.com.

I have to say your timing is really great! I was beginning to feel a bit sad for not doing the contest this year, and I was about to add a poll to the front page of vbgamer to see how many people would be interested in vbgamer hosting it again. Now I don't have to. [:)] It's a really big relief to know that someone is continuing the tradition!  Yeah, it's good of you to pick it up. I know a lot of people were going to miss it. A pity my game isn't finished enough to be submittable. thats great :D anyway i have a question since i didnt know the past contest :p

-Bryk Bleh, you beat me to it. I was going to use the opporunity to further my PHP skills and then demand that the gpwiki host it. Is it going to be exactly identical to the other Christmas contests? Yes pretty much. Maybe a better looking site. And it shall be 100% cheat proof. Well, nothing's 100% cheat proof. And if it's going to be exactly identical then maybe Eric can just send you the script to help speed up the process? Well it won't be exactly identical and 100% cheatproof was just a overstatement to how hard it will be to cheat. It will be nearly impossible. Besides we are almost done with the site, it has new dates, but you can see that when site is done. ok, great. A VB christmas tree and gaming contest :) Nice Zero!
