...but in my three years in the community, i think i've seen this tried about once per year...and it's yet to work. And like Almar said, most of the programmers who would be able to really contribute to such a project are too occupied trying to finish their own games. But, if Galaxy and Rahaji and Quadrant Wars and all the other games that are being worked on were all finished on the exact same day, leaving every programmer in the community free to work on a new game, hey, I'm all for it. ;) tatsuo
