Do you have Cable/DSL by any chance? You can check out Apache for hosting your own webpage if you do. Elsewise... yup, those free webpage sites are handy but sure do become a pain.

Bad paths, active X errors

you have to make sure you register the dll with this statement in the run box under the start menu. regsvr32 DaBooda2DEngine.dll Do this and you can run any sample on my site as well as program using the dll. I need to make an install program to do that, any suggestions?

Actually, I didn't want to register the DLL, I just added a reference to it after loading the project. I also had to reload the form and module because the paths weren't right. After doing that, it ran with an error in creating some activeX object

Recompile the source since you decided not to register the dll, then run the sample...It should run now...I'm trying to get around this problem....and its my first ole server to make so I am looking for any suggestions from the veterans...

Sorry it took me a bit. Booda, if you want me to teach you how to set up a webserver on your computer (I did it for quite a long time with my crappy site no one cares about) then I can teach you. My aim in Spodii and MSN is spodii@hotmail.com if you want to. 98 should be fine since I use ME.

You have to install a ActiveX, and SP2 automatically blocks it. Therefore, anyone with SP2 won't be able to access your website. I'd recommend getting www.webhost4life.com or www.jodohost.com or anything like that. I even think http://www.100webspace.com/freeplan.html will work just as good. www.sidrahq.com
